Alex Curran has admitted to wearing Marks & Spencer's bodyshaping knickers underneath whenever she goes out. 'I always wear the shorts on a night out,' she says. 'Even on days when I don't feel I need them. 'I put them on because they give you that extra bit of confidence and they stop you slouching.'

Alex, 25, thinks the Bridget Jones style pants are a better option than a strict diet. 'I don't diet, I just try to be as healthily as I can be, it's really important not to make your life revolve around food. If you're thinking about it all the time, it just gets you down.'

WAGs Gossip: Spice Girls let fans down............again

The Spice Girls have confirmed they will not be releasing a DVD of their most recent tour. This is seen as a second disappointment for fans who were first let down by the girls cancelling several of their tour dates and now not being given the chance to buy the DVD. The girls had originally planned on stopping in Australia, China, and South Africa for shows, but decided not to so they could spend time with their families.

A post on their website reads: "Sadly, there will not be a DVD release of the 47-date tour, but the girls hope you were all left with some fantastic personal memories of the show."

WAG Gemma Atkinson walks the Great Wall of China

Gemma Atkinson and Dannii Minogue are to walk the length of the Great Wall of China for breast cancer charities. The walkathon has been organised by Olivia Newton-John, 59, who has suffered the disease.

Gemma will start her 42-mile leg on 19 April. Sha said of the event: 'Being a female, I'm very aware of how common breast cancer is and I want to do my part to help'.

David splashes out on the in-laws

David Beckham has bought an £8million home in Dubai for his parents-in-law Tony and Jackie Adams.

Initially the house was for David and Victoria, however as a source told the News of the World that after he and Victoria moved their family to Los Angeles last year, he “realised he was not going to be able to spend any time in Dubai.”

“He’s got his commitments in Los Angeles and it’s a long trip, especially when he still has to spend a lot of time in London. So he discussed it with Victoria and decided that the Dubai place would be a really special present for her parents. They’ve done so much for the family already and are involved in all of David and Victoria’s ventures anyway.”

WAG Coleen McLoughlin goes to boot camp

Coleen McLoughlin has signed up for a boot camp-style training regime so she looks perfect when she trots up the aisle this Summer. She is hitting the gym for gruelling sessions four times a week and is having regular facials to get ride of any worry lines.

Coleen told Closer magazine: 'I can't wait to be Mrs Rooney. But she would also love to lose a few more pounds. 'It's like getting ready for a big holiday in lots of ways. I'm eating really healthily, drinking plenty of water and going to the gym. I can really feel myself toning up,' she added.

Coleen McLoughlin embarressed of Wayne's Croxteth family

Coleen is being paid £2.5 million for OK magazine to have exclusive rights to her wedding pictures, and she doesn't want Wayne's family showing her up on her wedding day. As a result, Coleen has decided to hold two receptions - an A-list celebration at a villa on the Italian Riviera, from which many of the Rooneys are excluded, and a family party in Merseyside.

However, some of the Rooneys are not happy with this decision and want their share of the limelight, the Daily Mail reported which has resulted in Coleen having to negotiate with OK to cover not only the glamorous Mediterranean affair, but also the reception in Liverpool.

"If that's going to happen, Coleen is saying, they have to behave and drink is going to have to be limited. That goes for everyone from Wayne downwards," a source told the Daily Mail.

Cheryl Cole may have began to forgive Ashley Cole for his mess-ups but it is clear that Cheryl's overprotective mother definately hasn't!

Party pooper Ashley Cole

Ashley Cole was banned from going out with his Chelsea team mates last night after their victory in the Champions League.

Ashley was at home in his Surrey mansion while his team mates John Terry, 27, Frank Lampard, 29, Joe Cole, 26, Juliano Belletti, 31, Shaun Wright-Phillips, 26, and Michael Ballack, 31, made up for his absence.

They celebrated reaching the semi-final with a spot of karaoke in the VIP section of London's Funky Budha. They were joined by BB star Chanelle Hayes, 20, who was apparently 'flipping her hair back while talking to Lamps, and they were smiling a lot,' a source tells the Daily Mirror. 'Meanwhile Chantelle headed over to John Terry, and he didn't seem to mind her company either.'

Liverpool player Steven Gerrard has revealed he’d love to have another child with wife Alex Curran.

Not just yet, but eventually. Children are very hard work and I’m happy with my family at the moment.”

A friend of Ronaldo told The News of the World: "A player asked Cristiano about the kisses he'd been blowing and he admitted he's got a new girl. Ronny's pretty smitten. She's at most of the games with Ronaldo's cousin, Nuno. People wrongly assumed she was with him."
