Danielle Lloyd to appear on Celebrity Gladiators

You'd have thought Danielle Lloyd would be avoiding reality programmes- but she has proved us wrong. She has signed up for Celebrity Gladiators.

Danielle is training for 12 hours a day to prepare to take on the Gladiators in the star-studded version of Sky One's revamped contest. She said: "I was so excited when I was asked to do the show. I remember watching 'Gladiators' every Saturday night when I was a kid and never thought that one day I would be a contender myself. I thought I was fit until I started training, but after the first day, every muscle in my body was aching."

Danielle is planning to donate money raised from the show to Liverpool's Linda McCartney Centre, which helps women suffering from breast cancer.

The new version of 'Gladiators', presented by Ian Wright and Kirsty Gallacher, starts on Sky One on May 11.

Watch out for the BAG

It's official: WAGs are now being replaced by a new type of man, the BAG (Boyfriend and Gold-digger).

Research released today by Scottish Widows reveals that almost twice as many men than women would now consider marrying someone purely for money and a luxurious lifestyle, with nearly one in five men (19 per cent) admitting to harbouring gold-digging fantasies.

By contrast, only one in ten women would consider marrying for money (11 per cent), and women are now concerned about becoming SWAGs (Successful Wife and Girlfriend) with financial independence and career success.

Victoria Beckham to become film star

Victoria Beckham is set to star in the new 'Alan Partridge' movie. Victoria is desperate to make it big as an actress, and will apparently play Steve Coogan's assistant, Lynn in the big-screen version of the popular TV show.

A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “The Partridge film has been in pre-production for an age. One reason was because they couldn’t agree on Lynn. Felicity Montagu, who played Lynn in the TV series, doesn’t want to go to Hollywood and the film’s backers decided they wanted a big name to replace her. It was also important to them to have a Briton and someone with a sense of fun.”

Girls Aloud begin 'Tangled Up' tour- Cheryl won't be tricked twice!!

Cheryl Cole has revealed for the first time the shattering emotional impact of her husband Ashley's cheating.

Talking to The Mirror before the start of the Girls Aloud’s ‘Tangled Up’ tour began, Cheryl admitted: "I feared I would crack up so in the end I stopped reading all the stuff that was being written about me and what was going on. But it's made me realise there are people out there a million times worse off than me. People see me as a role model, but I want them to see I'm human and I make mistakes. I'm not perfect.

"I want the young girls to learn from my mistakes."

Still not wearing her wedding ring, Cheryl, 24, joined choreographer Beth Honan for a defiant cover of Kelis's song Trick Me - apparently relishing the lyrics: "You might trick me once, but Iashley cole, cheryl cole, cher won't let you trick me twice."

Cheryl, whose duet with Will-i-am Heartbreaker is out today, also cavorted with male dancers in sizzling routines. Ashley was not at the weekend Belfast shows, the opening stage of Girls Aloud's Tangled Up tour.

In a revealing moment, Cheryl dedicated the song I'll Stand By You to those with emotional troubles.

Coleen's wedding causing surge in botox

Coleen McLoughlin’s wedding to Wayne Rooney has apparently triggered a surge in demand from WAGs and their partners for cosmetic surgery at a leading northern clinic.

The Harley Medical Group's North Western clinics are fully booked for non surgical treatments - such as Botox, fillers and laser hair removal - in the run-up to the June wedding. The group's Manchester clinic has seen a 40 per cent surge in bookings over the last three months. And the next three weeks are set to be the busiest in the clinic's history leading them to call it ‘WAG week’.

The Manchester clinic has seen bookings increase by 40 per cent over the last three months in the lead up to Wag Week. The clinic is less than a half an hour drive from the Cheshire heartlands of footballers' wives - Alderly Edge, Wilmslow and Knutsford - where many of the WAGs live.

Clinic director Liz Dale said: "Looking through the bookings register, it’s not just the Wags booking in for treatments, the lads are making sure they will be putting in their best appearance as well."

Sol Campbell's WAG calls Victoria Prima Donna

WAG of Sol Campbell has labelled Victoria Beckham a nightmare according to The Sun. FIONA BARRATT, 27, has accused Victoria of acting like a prima donna.

The interior designer sparked a war of the WAGs as she told how wives and girlfriends of England stars insisted on leaving the team hotel in order of celebrity status on jaunts.

“They had no idea who I was, thought I didn’t have a pot to p**s in and had no idea of my background. I didn’t care and got on the bus with my Financial Times and my sudoku. The nonentity WAGs had to walk out first. The higher the profile, the later they were.
Of course, Queen Bee Victoria came out last, there being at least ten or 15 minutes before she appeared, and her hair and make-up team were all in the lobby.”

Fiona, who has been with Portsmouth defender Campbell, 33, for two years, added: “I sat and watched the whole charade. Victoria Beckham . . . what a nightmare. She’s such a prima donna.”
