Girls Aloud to present BBC show

Girls Aloud are reportedly in talks to host their own chatshow for the BBC. The broadcaster has made the group an offer worth more than £500,000, according to Heat magazine. They will interview fellow celebrities in an eight-part special provisionally called An Audience With Girls Aloud similar to that hosted by Lily Allen.

A source said: "The girls are yet to sign, but they have all agreed to it. They would each be paid £20,000 per show. The band is going strong and they all want to commit to it 100%."

Cheryl Cole does not blame marriage for making her too thin

Cheryl Cole has hit back at reports that her recent dramatic weight loss is due to the breakdown on her marriage to Ashley Cole.

We've all seen the scary pictures of Cheryl looking increasingly bony but she insists her weight loss is down to the band's gruelling dance routines while on their U.K. tour.

A spokesman for Girls Aloud says, "Cheryl is not trying to lose weight, and she's eating healthily. She has always been tiny. Yes, she has lost weight and she's aware of it - but if you're dancing for two hours a night and sweating a lot, it's going to happen."

Coleen forces Wayne to settle court case

Last year, Wayne Rooney was sued by David Moyes, his former manager at Everton, over allegations in his autobiography and now faces a £500,000 legal bill after reaching a settlement with Moyes.

In his book, Wayne claimed Moyes leaked details of private conversations to the press, which ultimately led to his £27million transfer to Manchester United in 2004. Last April, Moyes responded to the claims in My Story So Far by issuing writs against Rooney, as well as publisher Harper-Collins and the book's ghost writer, Mr Hunter Davies.

Yesterday, Wayne apologised to Moyes in the High Court. He also agreed to pay Moyes 'substantial' damages for a 'serious breach of trust'.

It is understood that our Coleen McLoughlin, had urged the footballer to settle the case before their £10 million wedding this month. Rooney did not apologise in person as he was in Ibiza for his stag party. Instead, his lawyers read out an agreed statement apologising for the alleged libel.

'The defendants have also agreed to pay Mr Moyes a substantial sum in damages and his legal costs.'

Moyes reportedly claimed £300,000 in damages originally, though sources say the agreed settlement is between £100,000 and £150,000. In addition, Rooney and his publishers must pay the legal costs of both sides. These could add up to £400,000.

David Beckham has bought his wife Victoria Beckham a vineyard for her birthday. Victoria, who recently turned 34, is set to start bottling her own wine, after David paid a seven figure sum for the plot in California.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “The Beckhams became wine buffs when David played in Spain. The vineyard went down a storm with Victoria, she was delighted. The vineyard is located in the Napa Valley, approximately an hour flight from the couple’s Los Angeles home."

David, is said to have spent months researching vineries to find one that was just right for his wife. He apparently unveiled the present to Victoria by presenting her with a bottle with her name on the label while on holiday in the area last month. At present it is thought the wine will not be made commercially available and the couple - who have employed a team to run the vineyard - will keep it for family and friends.

Gazza's ex wife rushes to his bedside

Paul Gascoigne has had repeated problems in the past and has this week been sectioned under the mental health act. Ex wife and WAG Sheryl has rushed to his side to offer him her support even though he used to beat her in alcohol-fuelled rages whilst they were married.

Gascoigne was taken to an unnamed hospital on Tuesday afternoon after checking himself into the Priory clinic for the third time in as many weeks. The troubled star was seen walking arm-in-arm with his ex-wife in the gardens of the rehab clinic.

The couple married in 1996 but divorced in 1998 after she revealed he would regularly attack her.

Victoria Beckham ignores Glamour Awards

Victoria Beckham has finally been praised for an outfit choice while at the CDFA fashion awards this week. Victoria wore a black and white Marc Jacobs dress with hair slicked down and some killer black heels.

However, Victoria Beckham was absent from last nights Glamour Awards, where the Spice Girls won the award for Best Band. Victoria is normally a regular at the Glamour Awards, but decided to remain in New York after the CDFA's going to fancy restaurant Tenjune.

While at the Glamour Awards, Victoria's new best friend, Kate Beckinsale revealed: 'Victoria gave me some nipple covers, which are very useful. She said, ‘Use these so you’re not smuggling peanuts in your frock!’.’

She added: ‘I do see Victoria quite a lot because she’s got kids the same age as mine and she’s English and a really good laugh.’

Big Brother Reunion on Friday Night Project

Our favourite wanna-be WAGs will be appearing on the Friday Night Project this week, which we are sure will spark a few bitchy comments!

Big Brother 2008 starts on Thursday night, so all the old contestants are coming out of the woodwork to reclaim another few minutes of fame. Chanelle Hayes, Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, Charlie Uchea and Nikki Grahame will all be present on the show. Last year, Chanelle and Charlie refused to be in the same room together- let the fight begin!

Melanie and Theo loved up on Mr & Mrs

Arsenal player Theo Walcott has moved girlfriend Melanie Slade into family home. Theo and Melanie, both 19, admitted on Saturday nights ITV1 show, All Star MR and Mrs that they are loved up. Theo stated: “She’s my best friend and she’s the love of my life.” To which Melanie replied: “He is the love of my life – definitely.”

Theo also tells that he has moved Melanie into his family home and reveals their biggest row was when he called Mel a WAG. She says: “I found that an insult so we had a big argument about it.” The footballer added: “We haven’t had that many arguments really – just little petty ones, like when my ex-girlfriends’ names are brought up.” Mel admitted: “That really annoys me, yes.”

Theo went on to reveal how they shared their first kiss after seeing a movie, saying: “It was our first date – and she made the move on me!”

The Roberto Cavalli designed outfits are encrusted with $500,000 worth of crystal diamonds and range from sparkling leggings to a shocking gold corset that Victoria used to wow Spice Girl fans.

Coleen's wedding panick sends her to New York

Coleen McLoughlin has had to make an emergency dash to New York just two weeks before her wedding to Wayne Rooney after discovering that her £100,000 Marchesa dress no longer fits. The last-minute glitch has thrown her wedding plans into chaos, and she had to drop everything to jet out to see the top designer in Manhattan.

Coleen’s pre-wedding diet has proved a little bit too successful - and she has dropped bust sizes. A source said: 'Coleen is really stressing out as this really is every bride’s nightmare. There is so much for her to organise, with several bashes lined up in the Cote d’Azur, Sicily and on a yacht in the Med. Coleen has been trying to make sure everything is in place, although at the same time she has been working with a personal trainer to keep in shape. It looks like the stress of it all has made her shed a few pounds too many, and the dress no longer fits her around the bust.'

Coleen told OK magazine: ‘If you told me years ago that I would be getting married to Wayne I would not have believed you. When we first talked about getting married we did feel too young, but not any more. My mum was married when she was 18 - and my mum and dad are still together. We want to spend the rest of our lives together.'

Chanelle maintains she IS talented

Chanelle Hayes has laughed off a recent poll which named her the least talented celebrity in Britain. Chanelle said she was thrilled to receive the accolade and did not consider it an insult. This is a second blow for Chanelle, after her debut single 'I want it' entered the charts at 63 last week.

Chanelle said: "I'm so happy. I think it's great - I'm delighted. I've never won anything before and I just want to say thank you to all the people that voted for me. It was a real honour to be there on that list with Victoria Beckham and Heather Mills and people like that."

However, she insisted that she did not take the survey's findings seriously, saying: "I think the fact that someone who got over 90% in their A-level exams and can play the cello, and can speak Spanish can be voted the most talentless just goes to show how meaningless it is. I know I've got talents and I don't care what anyone else says. And the fact that I've got my own perfume and two TV shows and a single out just proves it."

Chanelle Hayes announces a glamour model war!

Wanna-be WAG Chanelle Hayes has started a war between herself and other glamour models by stating that she wants to make one of the best-selling calendars of 2009.

Chanelle revealed that she is aiming to beat glamour models Lucy Pinder, Gemma Atkinson and Keeley Hazell to the title."All the girls are gorgeous and it’s brilliant to even be up there competing with girls who have been in the business a lot longer than me. But me, a relative nobody, came fourth this year, which is pretty damn good! Now I want to do even better and maybe knock one out of the way!"

Speaking about her latest photoshoot, Chanelle added: "I am so pleased with my new calendar.We went out to Marbella in Spain for the shoot and I think it’s the best I have ever done. The pictures are much more sexy than last time."

WAGs are the Weakest Link

Last week saw Anne Robinson recording a special charity edition of The Weakest Link featuring our WAGs (although most of them were dumped WAGs!).

This was a perfect chance for the WAGs to be able to show their brains, as most of them keep arguing that WAGs are not thick! Well, as The Telegraph reported: "They made fools of themselves!"

The hilarious edition saw Danielle Lloyd being asked: "In 2004 Alex Best won the annual competition with a rhyming name of Rear of the what?", to which she replied, "month".

Former Big Brother contestant, Charley Uchea (is she a WAG?!) was asked: "In cartoon depictions of burglars, which word that is an anagram of WAGS is often written on the side of the bag containing their loot?", only to reply, "Bank. No, no, no, pass."

Even when Charley Uchea was sure she knew the answer, she still managed to raise a few eyebrows. "In mythology, which term for a potion that increases sexual desire is derived from the Greek goddess of love?", she was asked. "Oh!," followed the frantic reply, "Oh! I dead know it. .. Viagra!"

Victoria Beckham monkeys around with Gwen Stefani

Victoria Beckham and son Cruz attended Gwen Stefani's son, Kingston's birthday party over the weekend and were treated to pony rides and cowboy shows. Cruz attended the party in his favourite monkey outfit, although mum Victoria failed to get her fancy-dress outfit on.

Also at the party was Nicol Richie and Christin Aquilera with their babies Harlow and Max.

According to The Sun, Wayne Rooney has asked Westlife to sing at his wedding to Coleen Mcloughlin later this month. Wayne was desperate to book her favourite group after they were unable to make her 21st birthday last year.

Coleen and Wayne's wedding at La Cervara, Italy, coincides with a break in Westlifes touring schedule so they have said that they will do it. A source told The Sun: “Some of Wayne’s teammates gave him a bit of stick but he knows how much Coleen loves them.”

Wanna-be WAG Chanelle Hayes to follow Posh to America

Chanelle Hayes has revealed that she is considering moving to America once this years series of Big Brother kicks off.

Chanelle told the Daily Star: “I think once the new BB series starts I could easily be a leftover, I know Posh is still huge in the US and I think I could extend my career out there.”

Gemma Atkinson is going APE!

WAG Gemma Atkinson, 23, and Marcus Bent, 30, went to visit the newest member of their family, chimpanzee Bryan, at Monkey World near Wool, Dorset. Bryan was adopted by the couple after being rescued from Cancun, Mexico last year after it was found being trained as a beach photographer's prop with his teeth had been knocked out to stop him biting tourists and he was regularly beaten.

Gemma Atkinson said: "We have adopted Bryan, who was being kept by a beach photographer. We are delighted to help out. This is a brilliant cause that Jim (Monkey World co-founder Jim Cronin) started and we only hope that other people jump on board and adopt. It's as little as £30 to adopt a primate at Monkey World for a year and to help possibly change an ape or monkey's life."
